Full text in SciWheel

SciWheel, a citation management tool provided by the Library, now has an easier way to get full text. Einstein’s SciWheel users will see the little orange LibKey logo next to citations in their libraries that that don’t already have PDFs attached. Clicking the LibKey logo will retrieve the PDF. When LibKey can’t find a PDF, it will offer other access options, including interlibrary loan.

Using PubsHub to find journals publishing case reports

Identifying the right journal to submit your case report to can be tricky but PubsHub makes it easier.

PubsHub is a database of biomedical journals that allows you to search by therapeutic area, title, keyword, and more. It shows a wide variety of information about each journal, including the scope, impact factor, rejection rate, types of articles accepted, and time from submission to acceptance and acceptance to publication. You can refine your search using many of these parameters.

To specifically look for journals that publish case reports, use the “accepts case reports” filter under “Guidelines,”on the left side of the screen.

To see additional resources to help you prepare articles for publication, check out our research guide.
